Blog Entry: If one looks at the summer blockbusters, they're all sequels such as Spiderman and the Pirates of the Caribbean. For movie producers, why risk millions on untried new ideas. It's more profitable to go with the tried and true. No wonder there is a lack of artistic innovation in Hollywood. You can't really blame them because they have their investors to answer to.
